Beginning Spinning (on the Wheel) - $125.00
Thursday Nights, May 22, 2008 - 7:00 p.m. (4-Week Course)
Teacher: Chris Netter
Spinning for the complete novice. This course will introduce you to and get you started in the ancient craft of creating yarn using that magical device - the spinning wheel. You will learn how the spinning wheel works and more importantly how to use it to create yarn that is suitable for knitting and weaving. We'll be using sheep's wool for this class, so if you are allergic to wool let us know and we'll find some alpaca for you to learn on.
Chris has been spinning and weaving for 10 years. In years past, he's been spotted demonstrating spinning at the National Western Stock Show. If you stopped by Rose Weaving Gallery during Olde Town event over the past year, he was the guy at the spinning wheel.
Limit 4 Students
